Won on her racecourse debut for Mark Johnston before losing her way. The switch to new surroundings produced a much improved effort over C&D when chasing home Drop Kick Murphi who scored again next time. Stable have had four winners and two seconds from their last 11 runners. This may be a good opportunity to catch her with the champion jockey on board.

Winner of two AW races and second in two more during over the past four months. Has a further rise in the weights to contend with but has improved enough to deal with it. Likes to come from off a strong gallop and Yorkshiredebut may tee things up nicely for her..

Hit form last summer when winning at Musselburgh and making the frame on three more occasions. Had probably done enough by the time of a disappointing show last time. Stable are 0-39 since the start of the year and, although he should be thereabouts, it seems his front running style may set this up for some of his rivals..

Can be difficult to settle but with Yorkshiredebut in to set a good pace that should not be a problem. Has now landed three AW prizes at Lingfield but has gone well on turf too. Has something to find with Little Miss Daisy and Endeavour on running at Lingfield in February but signs are he has improved significantly since then.

Has won two sellers at Wolverhampton which prompted the handicapper to seriously overestimate those achievements. Tumbling back down the weights but a line through Juan Horsepower still gives her plenty to find with Little Miss Daisy.

Narrow winner at Wolverhampton in September and poorly handicapped since. Trainer opts for a 7lb claimer in order to deal with the imbalance.

Yards three-year-olds continue to thrive. Employed different tactics when making all to land a 6f Leicester seller last time. Had little left in the tank so this sharp 5f will suit. This requires more and he may have to allow Yorkshiredebut to lead. Three best efforts have come when fresh so he comes with risks attached.

Verdict

Katrine and Little Miss Daisy and ROUNDABOUT MAGIC appeal as being on the right side of the handicapper. All need to come from off a good pace and, with Yorkshiredebut and Endeavour possessing winning form from the front, there is a good chance that is what they will get. Katrine came to hand early last season and produced her best run for her new handler following a break. With the yard in such good form she makes plenty of appeal but it is possible she may need further than this quick 5f. Little Miss Daisy has landed a couple of prizes on the Lingfield slopes and finished ahead of both Endeavour and Roundabout Magic there in February. Another excellent run at Newcastle shows she has improved again since that run but ROUNDABOUT MAGIC appears to have made even more dramatic progress. Simon Dow's charge was forced to race wide in that Lingfield race and has made no mistake in two starts since. His style of running may mean there is more in hand than his winning margins suggest and he is taken to come out on top in what could be an exciting finish.
  1. Roundabout Magic
  2. Katrine
  3. Little Miss Daisy
