Successful on his debut for this stable at Kelso back in November. Disappointed the last twice including in the Tommy Whittle at Haydock in December and has his first start since being beaten 39L at Newcastle in January today.
Broke a run of four second placed finishes when winning over 3m at Fakenham when ridden by a leading amateur. Remains unexposed over this trip given that was his first outing over it under rules and is likely to run well off a 3lb higher mark here.
Winner of a beginners chase over this strip at Uttoxeter in September. Well beaten in competitive events the last twice and the predicted good ground here is likely to see him performer better.
Winner twice at Leicester earlier this year prior to finishing runner-up over an extended 2m6f at Newbury last time out. Races off a mark 11lb higher than for his latest success and has won over this trip in the past.
Running well in the main prior to finishing a well beaten sixth in a Class 2 event at Newbury last month. Placed in a Listed handicap here in October and upped to 3m for the first time today.
Finished runner-up over 3m at Doncaster on his most recent outing over fences in December. Disappointed reverting to hurdles at the same track last time out and more needed here.
Beaten when falling last time out but placed off a 3lb higher mark when second of four at Sedgefield over an extended 3m2f the time before. Interesting runner on just his fourth chase outing.
Victorious on three of his 13 career outings so far. Finished third when sent off favourite over 2m4f at Leicester in February and having his first outing over 3m today.
Winner of a 2m7f handicap chase at Haydock on heavy ground under today's jockey last month. Was returning from over 15 months off the track when well beaten the time before and an interesting runner here with trip to suit.
Wore blinkers for the first time when winning over an extended 3m2f at Sedgefield at the end of March. Had pulled up at Doncaster prior to that and remains to be seen whether blinkers will have the same effect off a 7lb higher mark here.

Forecasts
Master Jake (7/2), In The Rough (6/1), Global Dream (13/2), Wilberdragon (7/1), Purcell's Bridge (8/1), Boric (8/1), Shadows Lengthen (10/1), Jovial Joey (10/1), Wings Attract (12/1), Trickaway (12/1), Tickenwolf (28/1)
The better ground that MASTER JAKE encountered at Fakenham last time out seemed to suit Dan Skelton's charge and he can claim this competitive handicap chase. The selection had a leading amateur rider in the saddle last time out and can follow up here at the chief expense of Global Dream who has been in good form recently including when finishing second at Newbury last month. Purcell's Bridge is another to note in this contest having won off a 3lb lower mark last time out.
- Master Jake
- Global Dream
- Purcell's Bridge
