Winner fist time out last season and represents a yard in form. Highly tried subsequently and makes his handicap debut off a tough mark based on what he has achieved.

Derby entry who was always travelling sweetly before scoring at Nottingham on debut under today's rider. Handicapper has taken no chances and there are other unexposed horses in this. Yard in form and market has been a guide to their chances.

Dante entry who comfortably beat a stable companion in a back end maiden. That form looked less valuable when that rival was beaten at short odds last week and debut effort suggests he is a shade high in the weights. Yard had a couple of winners last week but have not been scoring with their usual regularity.

Beat moderate looking horses from other big yards when landing a Wolverhampton maiden in November. Blinkers fitted for the first time in what looks a much hotter race.

Handicapped about right judged on her impressive victory over a 72 rated rival here last month. Showed a good turn of foot that day and this slightly shorter trip should not be a problem. Faces a different calibre of opponent now but hard to dismiss.

7/1
Son of the 2008 Oaks winner Look Here. Built on debut promise over C&D to easily land a minor race at Lingfield next time. Won with a lot in hand that day and it would be no surprise if he proved to be a lot better than that form looks.

Forecasts

Big Challenge (6/4), Monarchs Glen (7/4), Andrassy Avenue (13/2), Here And Now (7/1), Jackhammer (25/1), Villette (25/1)

Verdict

Big Challenge and Monarchs Glen hold entries which suggest they may be better than this. The former cruised to victory on his debut and his yard could not be in better form. In contrast John Gosden has only had two winners in the past two weeks and most have looked in need of a run. Villette and HERE AND NOW arrive with no fitness doubts having landed maidens last month. Dean Ivory's charge produced the most flashy performance but HERE AND NOW probably achieved more when beating a good yardstick without having to work too hard. An opening mark of 77 on his handicap debut has not allowed for what he had in hand that day and any potential improvement.

  2. Big Challenge
  3. Monarchs Glen
