Off the mark on his first racecourse start over hurdles at Wincanton but has disappointed in both starts since. Made his handicap debut last time out but that was a poor run and reverts to novice company here.

Scored on his third start in novice hurdles when winning at Bangor before he was found out in a Doncaster Grade 2 last time out. Sights are very much lowered now and the yard are in good form.

16/1
Has some decent relations in his pedigree but has only completed once over hurdles so far and looks to be one for handicaps further down the line.
Very little form in bumpers or over hurdles and fences and would be a surprise winner in this.

Did win on her debut over hurdles at Plumpton (2m4f) and has run well in handicaps after that. Reverts to novice company now on better ground but may find one or two too strong.

Pedigree only looks ordinary and crashed out at the second hurdle on her debut at Ludlow and faces a tough task again here.

Forecasts

Red Rising (8/11), Dingo Dollar (1/1), Queens Present (7/4), Black Valentine (5/1), The Tin Miner (16/1), Day In Paradise (100/1), Westfield King (200/1)

Verdict

A stamina test to start the card and that looked to be what RED RISING needed when he was successful on his debut at Catterick and he still looks to have improvement in him. Both Black Valentine and Queens Present revert to novice company from handicaps although Dingo Dollar looks to be the main danger dropping in grade.
