Frankel colt ran well enough in a trio of maidens last year without scoring, upped in trip now for handicap and AW bow, he could have a good deal more to offer for his powerful connections.

Won a 7f handicap at this track early last month before finding 10lb hike too much to contend with on the turf at Naas since. May prove a similar tale back on the AW.

Maiden winner here over 7f in October and not beaten far over that trip on turf at Leopardstown four days ago. Goes up in trip significantly in trip but cannot be ruled out with any degree of certainty.

Best effort yet to win a nursery over a mile here in December by a half-length, potentially going to have to improve again to win this.

Forecasts

Allography (2/1), Room To Roam (5/2), San Remo (4/1), Circus Ring (6/1), Slaney Street (10/1), Buffalo Blues (14/1)

Verdict

Slaney Street showed improved form when scoring here just before Christmas and been off since, the form of that win has worked out nicely and he should not be underestimated for this return to the track. San Remo, a son of Frankel, should be capable of improved form for the O'Brien team this season but might be seen to better effect in due course and so the vote is handed to ALLOGRAPHY, who won a maiden here 33 days ago on a mile and is fancied to take this step up in trip in his stride for a yard that is going well. Room To Roam ran well at Leopardstown over the weekend and can do so again here having been turned out quickly.
  1. Allography
  2. San Remo
  3. Slaney Street
