Has acted well at this course in the past and has a feasible chance on these terms. Still needs to post a personal best to overcome topweight though.
Progressed to win the last three starts of her 2016 campaign in good style. Slight drop in trip shouldn't be too much of an issue but a 7lb higher mark means she needs has to have improved during the winter to shrug off the burden.
Made the frame in 50% of her previous starts so has full marks for consistency. Stays the trip well so also gains points for stamina. Can make this a good test but is yet to win a race and is vulnerable to a less exposed individual.
Won three times at Redcar so is obviously a horse for the course. The latest of her successes came in selling grade though, and she has a fair bit more on her plate in handling this stronger calibre of opponent.
Not too many miles on the clock for a five-year-old and she has made good progress on the AW of late. Yard in good form and the switch to turf may initiate some further improvement. One for the shortlist.
Made an immediate impact when joining her current yard by winning over 1m4f at Thirsk. Debatable whether stepping back 2f is absolutely ideal for her seasonal debut but she has the ability to hold her own in this company and is certainly worth noting in the betting.
Joined her current yard last November and has really packed a punch on the AW since then. Her previous form on turf left a little be desired though and she now has a bit to prove.
Of modest ability and it was a poor race she won at Ripon last August. 4lb higher this time around and faces a tough test on her seasonal debut.
The facts that she is long-standing maiden and is 3lb wrong at the weight conspire against her as a betting proposition and she is probably best left alone until she returns to class 6 company.

Forecasts
Monaco Rose (2/1), Calliope (4/1), Canny Style (5/1), Livella Fella (7/1), Spirit Of The Vale (8/1), Kerry Icon (11/1), Ronya (16/1), Delphyne (16/1), Rayaa (16/1), Cabal (16/1), Graceful Act (66/1)
The unexposed DELPHYNE appeals as a likely contender for a race of this nature and she may well have too much in the locker for the likes of Monaco Rose and Calliope, who spearhead the challenge from the rest. That said, Livella Fella goes well at this course and it would be noteworthy if came in for support in spite of being set to give weight away all round.
- Delphyne
- Monaco Rose
- Calliope
