Endured a steady decline and seems to have lost his way just at the moment. Would be at the foot of the weights if this were a handicap so has a very stiff test on these terms and is not too hard to overlook from a betting perspective.
Part of the dispersal of the David Nicholls string, he makes his debut for a new yard at a very winnable level and, having posted an encouraging effort last time out, he makes the shortlist in this modest company.
Won over 1m off a mark of 62 on the AW at Newcastle last December; so respected on that effort alone. Bit to prove dropping in trip and possible that he is not as effective on turf these days.
Has paid his way over the years but may lack the toe for sprinting these days. Recently switched yards and his latest start was encouraging enough to suggest he can figure at this level if they go fast enough for his stamina to come into play.
Made little impact during a light campaign last season; no surprise to see him in this grade and others make more appeal.

Forecasts
Gramercy (11/10), Noah Amor (2/1), The Magic Pencil (9/2), Tango Sky (6/1), Hadley (10/1), Secret City (16/1), Pennine Warrior (16/1), A J Cook (25/1), Adiator (33/1)
Hard to know what to expect from most of these but NOAH AMOR has at least proven that he still retains enthusiasm and can put his race fitness to good use here. Gramercy has been given every chance on the terms of the race and rates as a big danger if they go fast enough for his stamina to be called upon near the finish, while Tango Sky has a proven liking for this course and may be the best of the rest.
