Ran into a place in a 2m maiden hurdle at Clonmel in heavy ground at odds of 100/1, nothing more than a remote third however and since come home last of eight in a bumper at the same track. Hard to be confident in her now.

Something of an inconsistent sort, went closest to breaking her duck in a 2m handicap hurdle over C&D last summer on good to firm, mostly out of sorts since and beaten 16L back here in a maiden on New Year's Day when last spotted - this will be her 16th attempt over flights.
Five-year-old Gold Well mare appears on track for the first time. Trainer has a good record over hurdles overall while she's operating a 28 per-cent strike rate in recent times (2 wins, 1 place from 7 runners).

Jumps debut in similar company last month at Navan saw her coming home last of ten, beaten 57L having tired after some jumping errors. Needs plenty more now to have a say.
Finished just ahead of Gi Jayne on debut at Navan last month, form that will see both in trouble again in this contest should they not better it significantly.

Won a similar Clonmel contest in September on hurdles bow, only to lose it in the steward's room. She also acquitted herself respectably behind Airlie Beach in a Grade Three at Down Royal in November. Off since but merits respect for leading trainer on return and may get her breakthrough now.
Westerner mare will need to show a lot more than has been the case in three point-to-point outings since the turn of the year if hoping to have a leading role in this rules debut.

Raced a bit keenly and didn't convince with her jumping on debut at Thurles in February, out of contention before three out and completely tailed off at the finish.

Well beaten in bumpers at Listowel and Naas last year, similar tale at Limerick last month on reappearance and so hard to build any case for this jumps bow.

Was sent off a 50/1 on debut at Navan last week and didn't get beyond the first flight, likely to hold similar spot in the market for this contest.

Never a significant factor in two good ground bumper outings last year at Wexford and Kilbeggan, latest over 2m3f. Drops in trip for this hurdles bow.
Really struggled in four outings over timber at a variety of trips, latest at Navan early last month when dropped to 2m once more, raced keenly and faded tamely from three out.

Promising debut at Wexford in October over 2m4f to be 5L third, much less impressive over this C&D in December in heavy ground, falling at the second last when well beaten off. May do better on a sounder surface.

Royal Anthem mare is something of a latecomer to the track at seven, yard doesn't tend to have many winners and probably going to benefit from the run.

Bit keen at Wexford on St Patrick's Day when attempting to take closer order on third hurdles start, faded out of contention and has plenty to work on based on what she's shown so far.

Verdict

LITTLE FOLKE scored in good style at Clonmel in September, though she lost that race on account of Davy Russell catching the runner-up with his whip. Set a stern test in Grade Three company next time out, she wasn't disgraced behind Airlie Beach at Down Royal and should have excellent claims of a deserved maiden success here. Supreme One looks a danger, she impressed on debut at Wexford and is forgiven a flop on heavy ground at this venue in December when dropped to 2m. In what looks a weak contest, Day Day can be given some kind of chance given she's run well here before though she is not consistent in her efforts while newcomer Emmas Dilemma is worth noting for a trainer in excellent recent form.
  1. Little Folke
  2. Supreme One
  3. Emmas Dilemma
