Won a maiden hurdle at Aintree in October 2015 but has only seen action once since then. Open to improvement though and represents a top yard, so has to be of interest at this level.
Pulled up in a couple of chases recently and while he has plenty of ability and is a doughty stayer, he does need to prove his well being and may just need a confidence boosting round to get himself back on track.
Found out when finishing tailed-off in a Grade 2 at Doncaster last time out and faces something of an acid test from his current rating back in a handicap. Has scope for improvident but may be better with more give underfoot.
Won a couple of times during his time with David Pipe and is potentially well treated at the moment. However, his form posted this season for a new yard has been uninspiring and he looks a risky option when the fuller picture comes into view.
Hard to know what to expect after he failed to complete either of his last two starts and has subsequently switched to a new, but very highly respected training establishment. Has won off just a 3lb lower mark so feasible he can bounce back if the change of scenery has rekindled his interest.
Form has reach a plateau recently and needs everything to go his way if he is going to bounce back to form in this company. Others appear to hold stronger claims.
Not badly handicapped when the best of his form is taken into account and posted a respectable effort at Wincanton on his penultimate start. Left a little be desired last time, though. And lacks the consistency required for a solid recommendation. The rider's 7lb helps the burden at the weights though.
Won last year's Midlands National off an 11lb higher mark, so attractively weighted if the reverting to racing over timber can bring a halt to his recent spell of poor efforts. That said, he has taken on some stiff test of late, so may appreciate this slightly easier level of competition. Place claims at least if he puts his best foot forward.
Posted a good effort here over 2m4f last time out and has decent claims if his stama holds out over this additional half mile or so. In the right hands to improve now that he edges toward extreme distances and is another to bear in mind if he attracts some healthy support.
Won a point-to-point over 3m and is by far the least exposed in the field. Showed a good attitude to overcome a mistake at the last and still battle on for victory last time out at Doncaster and may well prove to be very well handicapped even though he is set to race from an 8lb higher mark this afternoon.
Won off the mark over 2m at Uttoxeter last May and has the scope to improve now he step up in trip. Breeding doesn't imply that its a natural step for him though and hard to recommend in the absence of positive vibes from the betting ring.
Consistent over both hurdles and fences until failing to complete his last two starts, but does have a feasible chance back over timber on these terms. Stays well, so an interesting character to bear in mind for a speculative each-way option.

The unexposed ROCKY'S TREASURE showed a good attitude to win at Doncaster last time out and appeals as a likely type to thrive now he has found his level. There are dangers aplenty though and the likes of Perform and Minella Aris are others that have plenty of scope for improvement and do there bit to make this an interesting contest as a future reference point. Support for Tea Time Fred would also have foundation and he shouldn't be underestimated despite creeping in the race at the foot of the weights.
