Made all to win a Novices' chase at Wetherby back in October and has mainly been in good heart since then. Third of four finishers last time out and needs to improve on that performance, but stays the trip. Firm ground would be a concern though.
Back to form since returned to his current yard and arrives here on the back of a smooth C&D success. The 4lb higher mark obviously calls for a sterner test of his abilities and he needs to post a career best to come out on top on these terms.
Responded well in headgear a couple of times recently and represents a yard with a 21% strike-rate over the last fortnight. (The stable also won this race last year with a similar type.) Set to race from 1lb lower than his last winning mark, so has a very feasibly chance at the weights. One for the shortlist.
Improving over hurdles and is well treated on these terms in comparison to his rating over timber. However, his chasing form isn't so good and he needs to have brushed up on his approach since the last time he was seen in this sphere (fell at Wetherby in January and his previous winning form came at a much lower level.)
Solid claims on the pick of his recent form and notable that he is now 2lb better off with Wuff after their recent C&D encounter. The fact that he raises his game at this course is a further positive and he is a worthy candidate for top honours in this company
Stays well, is consistent, and this is his time of year. Needs to post a career best over fences and may prefer softer though.
Just out of the weights but has been in good form lately. Put up 6lb for winning at Bangor in January and may have been undone by the slightly shorter trip. However, his best form has been attained on soft ground, which has to be a concern given the predicted drying spell of weather.

Forecasts
Wuff (11/4), Upswing (7/2), Abricot De L'Oasis (4/1), Kilcullen Flem (6/1), Henllan Harri (13/2), Brownville (7/1), Zeroeshadesofgrey (10/1), Racing Pulse (10/1)
The ground appears to hold the key to this and, given his proven liking for the predicted conditions dovetails nicely with the return to his favourite track, there are enough ticks in the right boxes to expect a bold effort from HENLLAN HARRI, who is 2lb better off with Wuff and is fancied to reverse recent C&D form with that rival this time around. Any rain would be a help for Kilcullen Flem and Brownville, while Upswing represents an in-form that that sent out the winner of this corresponding race last year. And is another to bear in mind if the market projects him in a positive light.
- Henllan Harri
- Wuff
- Upswing
