Verdict

TEMASEK STAR has been running with credit lately and bumped into a rival improving when close third over 1m4f last time out. Racing off the same mark now, he has fair claims of grabbing a fifth course win. Khabaray is up 3lb for his last-time-out win over the mile and should go well at this trip while his form brings Settle For Red into the mix at a trip which holds no fears. War Room has been running well around here and can continue to do so while Locus Standi is given a chance to bounce back from a below par effort a fortnight ago. Completing the shortlist are the admirable Shukhov and Mosman, who ran well at Wolverhampton recently and will want to banish memories of unshipping his rider on his last visit to this track.
