C&D winner in December on penultimate start, fell when still in contention three out at Cork later the same month. 10lb higher than previous winning mark but commands respect.
Winner over fences at Clonmel early last month though since had a tough race at Wexford on St Patrick's Day, switches to hurdles now and handicapped to go well on old form over these obstacles.
Three-time winner in France, was highly tried on first couple of runs in Ireland though has continued to disappoint in three runs this calendar year with sights lowered. Back down in trip now and could take a hand in the finish.
Close up fourth behind progressive Yaya Fizz on previous hurdles run at Naas in January, since been running very well over fences and should go well again now back jumping flights.
Without a win in nine starts over timber and three efforts this term have all been disappointing, gets 2lb back here but looks to be up against it again.
Back from a two-year absence, has run a trio of pleasing races including at Navan on Saturday. Visored for the first time now and entitled to go close.
First run for 544 days came over this C&D 19 days ago, never looked a danger in that race but was entitled to need the run. Just 3lb higher than previous winning mark.
Winner over flights at Listowel in June last year though failed to build on it subsequently and has been off the track now for six months. Likely to play a minor role in this.
Was in good tune last summer, much less so in two runs this year however, latest came over fences at Thurles in February but also disappointed in this discipline at Tramore. Bit to prove currently.
Not the most prolific, was pulled up over C&D at Christmas, did run a better race 19 days back here to be fourth of ten but requires a bit more from somewhere.
Around 15L behind All The Chimneys at Fairyhouse in December, 9lb turnaround may be not be enough to bridge that gap and he ran a much poorer race at Down Royal later in that month. Has been off the track since.
Is 11lb higher than when scoring over C&D in December, was pulled up having been upped to 3m at Fairyhouse in January, off since and should be more suited by this trip.
Winner of a 2m handicap hurdle at Listowel in September but has failed to build on it in three subsequent runs, most recent of which came at Navan in January when beat around 87L.
Ran a credible race to be third at Fairyhouse on Sunday over 2m4f, races off the same mark here and drops back in trip. Capable of having a big say if in the same mood.
Forecasts
Hareth (3/1), Rebel Cry (5/1), Lizzies Champ (7/1), All The Chimneys (8/1), Goulane Chosen (8/1), Soir De Chantenay (10/1), Black Ice (12/1), Benny In Milan (12/1), Orchard Road (14/1), Just Call Me (20/1), Balynaclash Warior (20/1), Who's Cross (20/1), Another Rattler (25/1), Una's Pleasure (25/1)
All The Chimneys deserves huge respect switching to hurdles having been in cracking form over fences of late. He was running nicely around the turn of the year in this sphere and it will come as no surprise should he pick up where he left off. Balynaclash Warior was behind him at Fairyhouse in December but is weighted to close the gap now while Rebel Cry is greatly respected having run well at that venue as recently as Sunday and he comes here on the same mark. HARETH has been showing enough in three runs back from an absence to suggest he'll grab a prize of this ilk somewhere soon and he is given the nod now in a first-time visor. Despite being a bit disappointing since arriving in this country, it is too soon to write off Soir De Chantenay. Switching to hurdles, Goulane Chosen is handicapped for a bit run based on his previous form.
- Hareth
- All The Chimneys
- Rebel Cry
