1-18 career record, that success being over hurdles at Doncaster (2m3½f, good) last year from a mark 14lb below today's. Showed some promise on chase debut (2m, good to firm) at Ludlow in October and soft ground against him next time. Conditions and trip should suit, though may be in grip of handicapper.
Won three times over hurdles, including at Bangor in October (2m3½f, good) but well beaten on chase debut at Ludlow last month, where soft ground may not have played to his strengths. Not one to write off yet, though looks to have plenty of weight.
Ran up a hat-trick in 2014 and scored for the first time since in an Exeter handicap chase (2m3f, oft) in January from 9lb lower. Has run with plenty of credit from 1lb lower on his two subsequent starts and ought to be thereabouts again. Best form with some give in the ground, though has won on good.
Yet to win in six starts for Paul Nicholls but getting closer to doing so on his last two outings, when runner-up at Ludlow (2m, good to soft) and Taunton (2m2f, good) from today's mark. Worth a try over this longer trip and looks a leading player.
Not won for over two years and 13 starts, but has run well in defeat on several occasions in that time. Trip and forecast ground suit and handicapper giving him his best chance for some time, so not ruled out in a weak enough contest.

Dance Floor King (5/2), Lou Vert (5/2), Comeonginger (3/1), McCabe Creek (3/1), Ratify (10/1), Vote Of Confidence (33/1)
Doubts about most of these in one way or another and LOU VERT is taken to come good, unexposed as he is over this longer trip. Comeonginger has been given a bit of daylight to work in and could make the frame, while Dance Floor King is another who can pick up some prize money.
