Winner of a juvenile hurdle at Uttoxeter in October 2015 but lightly raced since and well beaten in two outings on the Flat last summer. Sold for just £3,000 in August and represents new connections here.
Winner over hurdles in France in August 2015 and placed in this sphere for current yard. Finished third off a 2lb higher mark at Leicester in December and ran well when filling the same position in a first time hood and tongue tie (both retained here) back on the Flat in February. Likely to run well in this.
Comfortable winner of a hurdle at Niort prior to joining this stable earlier this season. Finished third off this mark the last twice including at Fontwell a fortnight ago and likely to prove competitive once more.
Winner of two of his last three starts including off a 6lb lower mark at Carlisle over an extended 2m3f last time out. Drop back in trip shouldn't inconvenience (won over this trip at Leicester in January) and likely to put in a bold show again here.
Finished third at Wincanton over an extended 2m5f on hurdling debut in November but well beaten in three starts since. Makes his handicap debut here and worth a check in the market.
Successful in a maiden hurdle at Plumpton in May 2015 but below par in two outings since returning from over 12 months off earlier this year. Handicap mark is falling as a result and yard have a 16% strike-rate of late (5/31).
Victorious over C&D off a 2lb lower mark in October but well beaten in two of his three outings since (fifth in the other) and worth a check in the market in this contest.
Successful at the third time of asking in a point-to-point at Dawstown in May 2015. Finished second on third outing over hurdles in October of that year but absent since and likely best watched on handicap debut.
Forecasts
Ryeolliean (11/4), Caid Du Lin (7/2), Political Quiz (9/2), Pillard (5/1), Alpine Secret (11/2), Sarpech (17/2), Bare Necessities (25/1), Duke Of Sonning (66/1)
CAID DU LIN ran well in the cheekpieces and tongue tie combination last time out when finishing third at Fontwell and is taken to go two better here. The gelding remains relatively unexposed over hurdles for this yard and can register a first success since transferring to this yard at the chief expense of Political Quiz who is in good form at present having won last time out while another ex-French horse Pillard can claim third following a decent effort on the Flat last time out.
- Caid Du Lin
- Political Quiz
- Pillard
