Has to have good ground to quicker to show his best, and defeat of Potters Legend at Doncaster in December reads well, but a bit below par when last seen, making mistakes throughout the race at Kempton, and needs to eradicate those if he's to win here. Has won off a break so absence no issue.
Made a good introduction to chasing when beating More Buck's at Sandown back in November and another solid effort in a competitive handicap the time after, but latest two efforts suggest he's gone off the boil a little (although heavy ground a legitimate excuse last time) and needs to bounce back now.
Game winner at Aintree last October but progress since then has stalled, Likely ground will be fine but ideally would want a little further, and third to Kernow last time out at Taunton needs building on if he's to get competitive here.
Good class hurdler but hasn't yet translated that over fences, yet to win in four starts and a fall last time out won't have helped his confidence. On the plus side, best effort of the four came at Ascot, but jumping errors still remain his biggest issue.

Brother Tedd (5/4), Present Man (15/8), Value At Risk (15/8), Casse Tete (7/2), Dark Flame (9/2), Minellacelebration (10/1), Crowd Control (100/1)
Plenty of these will want to push on from the front early and that might play into the hands of CASSE TETE, likely to be held up off the pace and he can come through late with a winning effort. He was much improved at Sandown last time and his sound jumping will hold him in good stead against a few that can make mistakes. Present Man looks the best of those if he can put a clear round in, and he can fill the places out with Value At Risk, another that needs to keep mistakes down to a minimum.
