Winner of a selling handicap hurdle at Fakenham on penultimate outing and not beaten far off this mark when third in a similar race subsequently. Interesting with a good jockey booked to ride.
Winner over fences at Ayr on heavy ground in December and best effort since when finishing third over hurdles last time out with cheekpieces re-applied. Races off the same mark here but likely to find one or two too good.
Winner over hurdles in March 2015 but very disappointing since including in three outings for this stable. Races off a career low mark here but has plenty to prove at present.
Shown little in four hurdles outings including when pulled up on handicap debut at Huntingdon last time out. Wears a hood for the first time here.
Beaten 20L into sixth at Plumpton earlier this month and similarly well held in three other outings since joining this yard from Ireland. Now rated 4lb lower than for his only previous hurdles win but best form has come on much softer ground. than is predicted here.
Maiden after ten starts but put in a career best effort when finishing third at Doncaster over an extended 2m a month ago. Likely ground conditions should suit and likely to run well again.
Remains a maiden after 12 outings and failed to complete in four of six efforts for previous stable. Pulled up on heavy ground at Lingfield in January when last seen in action and makes debut for new stable here.
Placed twice off a 4lb higher mark in January but disappointing twice since and well held when falling at the final hurdle at Chepstow last month. Interesting if bouncing back but last win came back in September 2013.
Beaten 9L on heavy ground when runner-up off this mark at Newcastle last time out. Also placed off a 5lb higher mark when finishing third at Sedgefield in February and likely to appreciate any softening in the ground.
Finished third in a novice handicap event at Doncaster in January but disappointed at Sedgefield since (held by Fiddler's Flight on that run) and appears to have a bit to do from out of the handicap here.

EDWARD ELGAR was a beaten favourite at Southwell when last seen in action but can defy top weight in this low grade handicap. The selection had previously won a selling handicap at Fakenham and he can get the better of Glimpse Of Gold is another to have tasted defeat as favourite last time out having finished third at Doncaster. The veteran Fiddler's Flight appears better on softer ground than is forecast here and he can take third..
