Formerly with William Haggas and has made a reasonable start for this trainer in 2017 with a couple of placed efforts over 6F at Wolverhampton. Has shaped as if he could be suited by dropping in trip (leads).
Now two from five on Polytrack, having run out a ready 1¼L winner at Kempton (5F) on her latest start in early February. Booking of an excellent young apprentice effectively removes her subsequent 5lb rise, and this strong finisher looks certain to go very close on her Tapeta debut.
Formerly trained in Ireland by Kevin Prendergast (0 from 4 in 5F to 6F maidens), but moved on for 8,000 gns in October 2016. Makes his stable, AW and handicap debut from a reasonable looking mark (65), but will possibly need this return to action.
His juvenile campaign didn't quite end in the manner in which it started, and he seemed to lose his way after a couple of fair early season placed turf efforts. Still to prove his ability on synthetics, but this handicap debut should tell us more about him with the future in mind.
Each of her three runs as a juvenile firmly suggested that handicapping would see her in a positive light. Has plenty of course experience (over 6F), including when fourth to a fair sort in Panova when last in action in October 2016, but surprising to see her dropped back to the minimum trip.
Winner of a seller last year at Goodwood (5F) and yet to win on the AW, but has shaped with distinct promise on each of his last two runs. He didn't get the run of the race at Wolverhampton on his penultimate start, and was closing rapidly on the winner (Snoozy Sioux) when going under by ½L at Lingfield earlier this week.
Fairly highly tried as a juvenile (often in Class 3 company at York), and largely never better than midfield finishes in five starts until finishing third of 11 at Musselburgh in September 2016. This stiffer track should suit, and is a half-sister to various AW winners so should have no problems switching to synthetics. Rated 59 and capable of improvement with first time cheek-pieces applied.
Respectable efforts in two 5F maidens as a two-year-old for Robert Cowell in 2016. Gelded since joining this trainer for 7,500 gns in October 2016, but below par when only seventh of eight on recent stable debut at Wolverhampton (7F). Drops back in trip tonight.
Little promise in any of her three runs as a juvenile (between October and December 2016). Drops back to 5F for the first time from a low base mark of 53, but difficult to see her involved in any shape or form.
Barely managed to beat a single rival in three starts as a juvenile, and showed similarly little when fifth of eight over C&D on her return to the track earlier this month. Starts off life in handicaps from a lowly mark of 50.
Had an easy lead when finishing second of nine to Little Kingdom over C&D in early February, and has been less productive in each of her two starts since (three places in front of the unlucky in running Billy's Boots latest), so needs to up her game if she's to get her head in front for the first time.

Little Miss Daisy (2/1), Ocean Princess (9/2), Dontforgettocall (5/1), Billy's Boots (7/1), Dulcina (7/1), Prazeres (9/1), Majestic Stone (12/1), Suwaan (14/1), Flying Hope (16/1), Emerald Secret (33/1), Violet Mist (50/1), Slave To Freedom (66/1)
Another open contest. Dulcina should go well if turned out for the second time in 48 hours following her much improved effort at Kempton on Wednesday, and would be her trainers first ever runner at Newcastle. Billy's Boots is another that should be feared, having run well on each of the last two occasions, including when closing rapidly on the winner Snoozy Sioux at Lingfield earlier this week. Emerald Secret looks capable of more now switched to the AW and with her sights lowered, but the selection is last month's strong finishing Kempton winner LITTLE MISS DAISY. She appears to be improving rapidly, and the booking of the excellent Lewis Edmunds is a smart move to effectively negate her 5lb penalty.
- Little Miss Daisy
- Dulcina
- Emerald Secret
