Successful on her handicap debut at Market Rasen three days ago. Turns out quickly under a penalty here and this step up in trip shouldn't pose any issues. Has a useful conditional jockey in the saddle here and likely to prove hard to beat as she goes in search of a quick double.
Winner over C&D on her penultimate outing and ran well when fourth back here last week. Races off the same mark here and while she clearly likes this track having also finished runner-up here she looks likely to find one or two too good in this.
Still handy when brought down in a race won by Avithos over C&D when last seen out in February. Too early to tell how she'd have fared in that but had disappointed twice previously and more needed here.
Placed in a point-to-point in May 2013 but lightly raced since and making first start in nearly three years when well beaten at Wincanton on heavy ground earlier this month. Plenty to prove in a first time tongue tie here.
Signs of promise on second handicap outing when 11L seventh over 2m3f here but disappointing over this trip at Ludlow subsequently. Hopes seem to lie with application of blinkers bringing about improvement.
Finished runner-up in a point-to-point on debut in February 2016 but disappointing under rules since. Better effort than in recent outings when upped to 3m here last time out but even that leaves him with a bit to find with the principals.
Best recent effort came three starts back when a close fourth at Exeter over 2m7f last April. Pulled up on first run since May 2016 on heavy ground at Ffos Las at the start of the month but has a useful conditional in the saddle here and the return to likely better ground should suit.
Winner over just short of this trip at Chepstow on soft ground earlier this month. That marked a significant improvement on previous efforts for this yard and likely to find life tougher off an 8lb higher mark here.
Beaten 77L on final outing for a handicap mark at Chepstow in January. Steps up in trip and likely to encounter better ground for his handicap debut in this.
Beaten 14L over 2m1f on soft ground at Exeter last time out. Yet to make the frame in nine previous outings over hurdles and hopes seem to lie with predicted better ground and significant step up in trip bringing about improvement..
Winner over hurdles and fences in the past but well beaten of late including over 2m4f on heavy ground at Wincanton last time out. Handles better ground and upped in trip here.
Forecasts
Timeforwest (5/6), Avithos (6/1), Triopas (7/1), My King (10/1), Follow The Tracks (12/1), Phar Away Island (12/1), River Dun (20/1), All But Grey (25/1), Sparkling Ice (50/1), Sacramento King (50/1), Dirty Dexter (66/1)
TIMEFORWEST was impressive when winning at Market Rasen earlier this week and can follow up that success by registering a second career victory in this contest over nearly 3m. The step up in trip looks likely to suit the selection given she's also finished runner-up in a point-to-point and she can get the better of Follow The Tracks who should be suited by this return to better ground and has won off a higher mark over C&D in the past. Third place can go the way of Avithos who was successful here on her penultimate outing.
