Pulled up in Cheltenham Festival handicap on first run since June. Entitled to improve on that and this, clearly, is less challenging.
Off the mark at Gowran Park recently over 2m4f, steps up in trip now and should have more to offer, already sets the standard on form.
Mare was a shock winner at 50/1 around Thurles last month, since run fair race at Navan and could have place claims again now.
Former point-to-point winner has yet to really suggest there's an impending breakthrough under rules coming and looks best watched for the time being.
Fourth of seven, beaten 25L at this track recently over shorter trip, previously fell in race won by Carrigeen Acebo at Thurles. Needs more on the formbook.
She scored over 2m at Towcester in November when last seen, stepping up significantly in distance for this and on ratings she has plenty to find.
Forecasts
General Principle (4/5), All Hell Let Loose (9/4), Twiss's Hill (6/1), Carrigeen Acebo (12/1), Adarenna (33/1), Roisin A Chroi (66/1)
GENERAL PRINCIPLE sets the standard on paper having got off the mark in good style last time at Gowran Park and he is entitled to hold strong claims going up in trip. The race doesn't have a lot of depth but All Hell Let Loose is respected having been pitched into a Cheltenham handicap on his first start of the campaign. Carrigeen Acebo is the best of the rest although she may struggle for now to add to last month's shock win at Thurles.
- General Principle
- All Hell Let Loose
- Carrigeen Acebo
