Won a C&D maiden for his former yard on his last start and starts life in handicaps off what looks to be a stiff enough mark for a new yard. His experience on this surface will stand him in good stead though over three newcomers on the Fibresand.
Winner of an AW maiden over 7f at Newcastle as a juvenile and got back to winning ways over a mile at the same track in February. Looks better over a mile than shorter but has looked awkward under pressure and makes her Fibresand debut.
Has drawn the tricky inside stall (no winners from stall 1 over a mile since the start of last year) but has at least won on the surface. That win came over 7f off a mark of 55 and she steps up in trip now off an 11lb higher mark after a respectable second last time out at Wolverhampton.
Makes his first start on this surface (sire's first runner here) and has proved more consistent that progressive in nurseries. The 1m2f trip looked far too testing last time out at Chelmsford on his AW debut and he returns from a break here.
Sire (Clodovil) has a good record on Fibresand and that augurs well for this one's chance on her handicap debut for a new yard. Showed up well enough in three maiden starts and is of interest off a lowly handicap mark in a surface that should suit.
Forecasts
Vantage Point (2/1), Seaview (2/1), Killermont Street (3/1), Midnight Man (9/1), Shambra (16/1)
A tricky small field handicap with no real solid options and despite the fact that Vantage Point has won here his mark looks stiff enough as he starts life in handicaps. Seaview is another has won on this surface but is faced by the difficult stall 1 draw which may prove difficult despite this small field. Killermont Steet can be given a chance but has looked a little difficult and a flyer is taken on SHAMBRA who should be suited by the Fibresand in breeding and could make the most of her lowly mark.

- Seaview
