Always travelling well and showed a good turn of foot to quicken clear at Huntingdon. The runner-up has scored since. Faced a stiffer test next time and this looks a lot easier.

Winner of a point-to-point on her second start in that sphere but pulled up at Towcester on rules debut. Flattered by her proximity to winner last time in a race where she set a modest pace.

Cost €33,000 as a three-year-old. Has soon dropped off the pace in all races so far and cheekpieces are now tried.

Formerly with Jim Culloty in Ireland. Plenty promise in Cheltenham bumper in October and not disgraced in Listed contest when sent off favourite. Was looking the most likely winner when coming down on hurdling debut and that race has worked out since.
Signs of ability when fifth in a Listed bumper at Huntingdon on second start, despite taking a keen hold. Has not looked a winner in waiting in two starts over hurdles and may do better when handicapping.

Off the course since finishing a well beaten second last time behind a useful horse. Fitness has to be taken on trust and yard are having a quiet season.
Won a bumper here on good ground but well beaten in two starts since when conditions were softer. Has plenty to find with Mariah's Legend on running at Huntingdon in January. Her stable are probably in better form currently than is the case for that rival. Yard 4-19 with hurdlers here.

Winner of a point-to-point (was made 2/5 favourite for it) at Ballyarthur and that form boosted when the second home won an Aintree bumper last Autumn. May have needed the outing when tiring on reappearance. Stable are just 1-44 in novice hurdles.

Well down the field on her bumper debut when weak in the market. May need more time and much softer ground.

Well beaten at big prices in four bumper outings and when falling on hurdling debut last month. Stable are without a winner since March 2015.

Forecasts

Brillare Momento (2/1), Goodgirlteresa (10/3), Mariah's Legend (7/2), Scorpio Queen (5/1), Sheneededtherun (14/1), Ballela Magic (18/1), Just A Feeling (25/1), Swatow (50/1), Blakolive (250/1), Vitarra (300/1)

Verdict

BRILLARE MOMENTO looked unlucky when coming down two out in what has turned out to be a hot race at Ludlow. A line through the third that day (Hitherjacques Lady) suggests there should be little between her and Mariah's Legend. Amy Murphy's mare ran below par last time and the yard are not in the same form as when she collected at Huntingdon in January. Scorpio Queen is entitled to come on for her hurdling debut behind Mariah's Legend and represents a yard who do well on their infrequent forays here.
  1. Brillare Momento
  2. Mariah's Legend
  3. Scorpio Queen
