Lightly raced but has shown little signs of progress this season. Stable are in the midst of a quiet spell (1-36 last 14 days)
Wide margin winner of a poor race at Huntingdon. Handicapper has probably overreacted to that effort as judged by his latest performance. Back from a break and yard's horses generally benefit from the run.
Winner on good ground last autumn and not disgraced on next two starts given the state of the going. Was in the process of stepping on both those performances before falling next time in a race won by Saturday's Newbury winner Bodega. Stable landed a big prize on Saturday and their horses have been showing signs of better things to come.
Best form came in a weak race at Doncaster. Beaten when losing his amateur rider last time and now steps up to three miles. Yard are going through a quiet spell but trainer is 11-49 with first time cheekpieces.
His Wetherby fifth to Craggaknok would be good enough here but he has been too keen and below that level since.
Has shown signs of ability and now gets a trip more in line with his pedigree. Stable have got him into a poor race on a reasonable mark. One to check in the market.
Easy C&D winner last time. Switch to more patient tactics appears to have helped but faces a stiffer task off a 10lb higher mark here although he does travel well. (Engaged Plumpton 4:00 Monday).

Forecasts
Twist On Ginge (3/1), Derrick D'Anjou (10/3), Ballythomas (4/1), Boher Lad (9/2), Fifty Bob (11/2), Midnight Gem (11/2), Honest Intent (16/1), Generous Helpings (16/1)
BALLYTHOMAS arrives here in better form than his rivals and on a mark that leaves him well treated. Two wins over fences have seen significant improvement and, if that can be translated to the smaller obstacles, he could prove something of a handicap snip. He has run well over C&D previously. Midnight Gem is interesting with her stable showing signs of rediscovering form and on ground that will be more to her liking. Derrick D'anjou catches the eye off a low mark now tackling a trip for the first time.
