Placed a couple of times around this course but always looks better at Taunton where he has won three times. Ran a sound race at that course last time off a 1lb higher mark but still needs a career best to win this.
Maiden chaser (not a natural over fences) who returns to hurdles off a 10lb higher mark and that looks to set him a tough task. Struggled off this mark over hurdles before the switch to fences and likely to do so again.
Has mixed hurdling with chasing and won in both spheres in the past year although the chase win came in a very weak contest. Looked to come back to form last time out at Towcester when narrowly beaten but is off a mark (122) that may just leave him vulnerable.
Shown plenty of promise in his three starts in handicap hurdles and ran possibly his best race in a handicap last time over C&D. Travelled strongly and may have made his effort soon than needed and a more conservative ride should see him go close off a mark that still looks workable.
Hard to fault his attitude which had looked suspect in the past with him gaining three wins in his last five races. A change of stable has obviously helped and he won well off a 6lb lower mark over fences at Southwell last time out. Now back over hurdles he still remains feasibly handicapped if his attitude stays the same.
Increased trips have looked to unlock his talent and that was shown when he won at Taunton (2m3f) on his penultimate start. Race not run to suit last time out at the same track (may be better suited by a more galloping track) and he returns from a break on ground that suits off a mark he can be successful off.
Makes his handicap debut after winning on his third start in novice hurdles at Lingfield last time out over 2m. The increased trip should be well within his range and he looks the type who appeals in races of this ilk.
Thriving sort who has won his last two start and bids for a hat-trick under a penalty stepping up 4f in trip. Showed improved form in the second of his wins at Southwell travelling well and being in total control at the finish. Must have a good chance of following up although this represents a step up in class and is over trip that he's been beaten before.
Form over trips such as this leaves a lot to be desired and this looks a stiff task even coming from a stable that are always worthy of respect around here.

Without doubt the best and most competitive race on the card with several in with a good chance of winning. Recent scorers Beggar’s Wishes and Agincourt Reef are to be respected especially the former who has been on a real roll but does face a deeper race and step-up in trip here. Beau Du Brizais has to be respected and Holbrook Park looks a likely type to go well at a price. In the end though the vote goes to handicap debutante GROUNDUNDERREPAIR who looks nicely handicapped and should be suited by this increased trip.
