Ran a good race to finish third after a long break away from the course at Towcester in November, and is dropped 3lb from that run. Won at that same course off a higher mark than this back in November 2014, so clearly has a chance if returning to her best.
Fell when joint favourite at Fakenham last time out, having won at Lingfield over shorter the time before and giving every impression that a longer trip would suit. She gets that once again today, and is a leading player if showing no ill effects from that fall.
Only tame form recently, but at least one of those runs can be forgotten as it was in a Grade 2 won by all-conquering novice chaser Altior. Back down to her only winning mark from August last year, but it's a concern that that was on good to firm ground and over much further.
0/14 under rules but won a point to point and has run some nice races over fences, including when beaten only 5L at Plumpton in January (2m1f, soft). On the same mark here and holds strong place claims once again.
Went very close over a similar trip on soft ground at Leicester last time and remains on the same mark for this (only three finished that day). Rates a huge player here on that evidence and given her age, there could be more to come.
Four-time winner in point to points but has failed to get off the mark under rules in 22 attempts (or even finish as runner-up). On a career low mark now but there remains the risk that she's just not up to performing at this level.
Forecasts
Vinnieslittle Lamb (5/2), Tara Mac (3/1), Lakeshore Lady (4/1), Bennys Girl (6/1), Easter In Paris (15/2), Mrsrobin (8/1)
Tara Mac was unlucky to fall at Fakenham last time given she was finally having an attempt at a race that should have really suited her, but she bids for redemption here in another heat where she should have her conditions. The fact she fell in a concern though, while Vinnieslittle Lamb also has something to prove after long absences from the track, though she looks off an appealing handicap mark. LAKESHORE LADY was a very close second at Leicester last time (beaten only a length), and could still have more improvement in her off an unchanged mark. She is the one who makes most appeal in a race where most have questions to answer.
- Lakeshore Lady
