Useful on the flat and turned his recent form around when a close fourth in a competitive handicap hurdle at Leopardstown last time, the first time blinkers seemingly doing the trick. Headgear retained here but upped in trip, asking a new question.
In good form at present and took a Navan handicap hurdle with something to spare on his latest start. Handicapper has taken action with an 8lb rise and is another for whom this trip represents an unknown quantity.
Stays this trip and further, which is a positive here, and and easy winner of a maiden hurdle at Downpatrick last October. Not performed to that level in two starts since though, and needs to improve to get involved.
English raider hasn't shown much on last two starts, and connections now reach for the tongue tie, possibly more in hope than expectation. Likely conditions fone but needs to turn his form around to hold a chance.
Often very highly tried in competitive handicaps, and a couple of pulled-up efforts to his name was ended last time when finishing a close second to Westerner Point over fences at Thurles. Drying conditions fine and in much calmer waters here, so holds a solid chance if building on that effort.
Has just under six lengths to find with Sanibel Island on latest run (4lb better off here) but that was a much better effort than his previous two. Still leaves him with something to find on form to trouble the principals but at least it was a step in the right direction.
Won a maiden hurdle at Cork in November (form of which is mixed, third a winner since but fourth well beaten) but not so good since, although possibly a bit out of his depth last time out. Connections go for the tongue tie and a bit to prove now.

Forecasts
Sanibel Island (2/1), Derulo (11/4), Ballela Boy (4/1), Kilfenora (9/2), Bitview Colin (11/2), Shadow Catcher (8/1), On Impulse (8/1), Little Stevie (16/1), Lofgren (20/1)
Quite an open looking race for the money. A chance is taken with ON IMPULSE, who didn’t shape at all badly on his first run back after an absence and on old form, would hold every chance. He has less to prove in terms of trip and conditions that a few. Shadow Catcher bounced back to form last time out and will like the drying ground, and he and the improving Kilfenora can fill out the places.
