Won a valuable handicap at the Curragh in 2015 but has suffered a complete loss of form since. Has run some big races this winter and is unlucky not to have bagged a prize. Drops in grade following a poor run last time and ought to show more tonight.
Winner of a couple of turf races last season. Looks high enough in the weights and AW record is poor.
Both career victories have come off a mark of 77. Sliding back towards that mark now and signs appeared more encouraging last time.
Down the field on his last three starts but has now dropped to a mark from which he has gone well previously. Likely to need the run with yard still seeking their first winner of the year.
Winner of three races this winter including two over C&D. Blew the start last time and that run is best ignored. Has struggled in this grade previously.
Has improved with each run since returning from a break. Now just 3lb above last winning mark and trainer going well. Sure to go close.
Makes debut on tapeta off a mark which seems plenty high enough. May need the run and the hood, fitted for both career victories, is removed.
Seems better suited to 6f nowadays and his AW form is significantly worse than his turf exploits. Stable are in form but overall profile leaves him a bit to find.
Winner at Ayr last August but has been nowhere near as good since. Advancing years may be catching up with him but last couple of efforts have been more encouraging. Appears to have dropped to a mark, and a level, from which he can now be competitive.
C&D winner who has dropped to his last winning mark. Looked unlucky last time when a well backed favourite. Tricky draw to overcome but still looks the one to beat.
Appears to be back on track judged by his effort at Chelmsford on Thursday. Has now slipped to a workable mark for shrewd trainer. Steps up in grade here and that makes him vulnerable.
Forecasts
Excellent George (5/2), Normal Equilibrium (5/1), Rosealee (11/2), Miracle Garden (7/1), Foxy Forever (9/1), Zipedeedodah (10/1), Invincible Ridge (10/1), Ballesteros (14/1), Foxtrot Knight (16/1), Van Gerwen (20/1), Sandra's Secret (20/1)
MIRACLE GARDEN appeared unlucky in running last time and appears to have rediscovered the form which brought him a 2016 success off an identical mark. The booking of Tom Marquand signals intent to recover losses and he is picked ahead of Rosealee. Her trainer has been picking up AW sprints over the past few weeks and will have a good angle on form. She is another who appears to have peaked at the right time and she will be a big threat. Foxy Forever will appreciate the ease in grade and can make a bold show under topweight.
