Some really promising efforts in five starts over fences, including over this trip at Punchestown in November when chasing home Rogue Trader. Leading player in this.
Jumping yet to truly convince, both over hurdles and now fences. Paid the ultimate price last time at Gowran Park when crashing out. Has ability but not without risks.
Shown enough promise in this sort of company over fences already this season to merit the suggestion he can take a hand in the finish at this kind of level.
Without a win in 14 starts under rules, six of them over fences. Found things hard going in two runs this year (both 2m4f) though does have top jockey to aid cause over this longer trip.
Distant second in minor hurdles event at Cork on Thursday, chase form still leaves him with plenty more to find to record first win.
Disappointing in hat-trick attempt over hurdles at Naas last month. Bit to find on some of these on hurdles form ahead of chase debut here.
Uncompetitive in two chase runs at Gowran Park this season, latest over 2m4f. Has to find a massive amount of improvement to be winning this race.
Beaten over 100L in what looks like being a decent novice chase over 2m1f at Clonmel earlier this month, needs a good bit more now.
Just the one win from ten outings over timber, though has been woefully out of form in that sphere in three runs this season ahead of this chase debut.
Showed here last time out that jumping is still something of a concern, though did run a better race. Upped in trip and can continue gradual upward curve.

For all that Dicosimo was a smart hurdler, jumping has never really been his forte. He has looked sketchy at times since going chasing and paid a hefty price when crashing out from the lead at Gowran Park a fortnight ago. For that reason he is overlooked now in favour of ART OF PAYROLL, who has displayed plenty of ability in his runs over fences so far and finished in behind some smart horses along the way. He comes here off a nice break and can open his account. Inis Meain is another that should be off the mark in this sphere sooner rather than later while Victory Mill and Hold Onto Your Hat look the most likely to shine amongst the fencing newcomers.
