Found things too hot in four-runner Grade 3 at Naas last time having cut out a lot of the running, drops in trip now but may again find one or two too strong in this.
Dual winner over fences last summer including at around this trip, last seen when running a fine race at Cheltenham in October over extended 3m, should be competitive on return to action for leading yard at this shorter distance.
Is two-from-two since going chasing, bold frontrunner who will give his backers a tough time given jumping style but is clearly very talented.
Won his first three over fences though rather found his level in summer handicaps thereafter. First run since September and others in the field make more appeal.
Looks to have some potential over fences at this sort of trip based on Limerick success at Christmas. Can be forgiven his part in the Acapella Bourgeois-debacle at Navan last month over 3m.
Won a mares' race at Clonmel in October over 2m2f on good ground, mostly struggled since against her own sex, hard to see turnaround now going in with the boys.

Diamond King comes here having failed to deliver in a big Cheltenham handicap last time out. His trainer remains in good form and, given he was pulled up there, he can be afforded a decent claim of compensation. The race may revolve around GREAT FIELD, a frontrunner of some potential. He may have to survive an odd scare over the fences, but he looks a talented recruit to this sphere and with just five runs behind him, is open to further improvement. His biggest danger could well be himself however. Full Cry can have a say back down in trip while Stone Hard shouldn't be hardly judged on last month's Navan effort behind a tearaway winner over a trip that might well have been too far in any case.
