Promising effort when finishing fourth at Plumpton on debut in November but well held when beaten 21L into tenth by today's rival Cirano De Sivola at Warwick last time out and a bit to find with that rival on hurdling debut here.

Placed twice from three starts in point-to-point's last season but well held twice over hurdles and likely to fair better in handicap company.

Winner of a point-to-point in February 2016 and successful at the second attempt in bumper's when winning at Warwick in January. Wore a first time hood (retained here) on that occasion and likely to run well on hurdling debut.

Placed twice from six outings in point-to-point's in Ireland but pulled up on hurdling debut at Ludlow three weeks ago and beaten 67L at Hereford subsequently. Likely to do better in time.
Finished third on final outing for previous yard on hurdling debut in first time cheekpieces (left off since) at Ffos Las in November. Well beaten in fourth on debut for this yard at Wincanton earlier this month and interesting here dropped in trip.

Forecasts

Cirano De Sivola (5/6), Cornish Warrior (2/1), Allez Jacques (15/2), Alpha Indi (10/1), Choochoobugaloo (25/1), Coopers Square (33/1)

Verdict

CIRANO DE SIVOLA had a subsequent winner in behind when winning on his second start in bumper's at Warwick in January and he can make a winning hurdling debut here. Of the selections rivals Cornish Warrior was an expensive purchase for this stable in December and can put his experience to good use by finishing second while Allez Jacques can put a poor run behind the selection behind him by claiming third on hurdling debut.
  1. Cirano De Sivola
  2. Cornish Warrior
  3. Allez Jacques
