Well regarded by his trainer and while he has shown signs of inexperience in several starts to date, he clearly has plenty of ability. Proved no match for the winner last time but that rival has run well in graded company since and this gelding is getting better with every start. Drop back in trip should hold no fears and looks the one to beat on paper.

Unlucky to still be a maiden after five placed efforts and the booking of the Champion Jockey looks ominous. Has a break to overcome but he certainly looks better than his official rating and he should remain competitive in this affair.

Classy handicapper on the Flat on his day but not been in great form in recent starts over at Meydan and this is a tough contest to be making a hurdles debut.

Well beaten in Warwick bumper on debut but looked better on his second start at Wincanton. Tailed off when last seen though and will need to have improved markedly if he's to get involved.

Useful Flat performer but he's failed to justify favouritism the last twice, travelling well here last time before finding very little. Gets weight from the others but he may be vulnerable once again for win purposes.

Forecasts

Sir Antony Browne (8/11), Red Indian (2/1), Most Celebrated (9/4), Adrrastos (7/1), Beach Bar (16/1), Whin Park (33/1)

Verdict

SIR ANTONY BROWNE performed well behind what looks like a smart horse at Fontwell last time and there may not be a rival of that calibre in here so he's taken to get his nose back in front. Red Indian has been given a break after a decent effort at Kelso last time and may have improved in the interim while Adrrastos shouldn't be dismissed at likely bigger odds after several placed efforts and the Champion Jockey may be able to coax a little more out of the five-year-old.
  1. Sir Antony Browne
  2. Red Indian
  3. Adrrastos
