Been in good form in point-to-points and hunter chases since the turn of the year, winning one of these at Fakenham last time. Cheek pieces added this time perhaps in a bid to squeeze out a little more and he looks a leading player.
Won a Perth hunter chase (good) last May, though well beaten in a couple of similar contests this season. Has run well on heavy ground before now, though looks to be a horse in recession.
Not seen much racecourse action, winning one of her nine starts in a Fakenham novices hurdle over three years ago. Moved into this sphere last season, but form not strong enough to give her serious claims today.

Forecasts
Carlton Ryan (2/5), Green Flag (11/4), Wicklow Lad (4/1), Mister Marker (9/1), Miss Biscotti (14/1)
Moderate fayre and CARLTON RYAN is taken to win again with cheek pieces on for the first time, while Wicklow Lad can probably give him the most to do. A better effort from Green Flag would not surprise.
