Lightly-raced former Nicky Henderson inmate who makes his first start for new yard here. 9lb higher than when winning a decent handicap at the Punchestown Festival last spring, and well beaten on only subsequent start. Acts with cut although not raced on the forecast heavy ground. May still be capable of improving.

Dual C&D scorer who comes into this from a mark 3lb higher than last month's Newcastle win. Chasing a hat-trick on deep ground and the way he won last time he looks to have serious claims of doing so.

Back this season after an absence of over 18 months and hit form when looking well handicapped last time, scoring over 2m4½f at Ayr. Up just 2lb for that, which came on the same going as forecast here, and should be thereabouts.

3lb higher than his latest win, which was over a similar trip at Leicester (good to soft) in December. Comfortably accounted form in all four starts since and looks like the handicapper is winning the battle at present.

Without a win since his novice days (December 2013). Looking well handicapped on old form, but just haven't seen enough from him lately to think that a return to form is imminent.

Forecasts

Runswick Royal (2/1), Teo Vivo (2/1), Meadowcroft Boy (4/1), Sleepy Haven (5/1), Cup Final (18/1)

Verdict

TEO VIVO comes here in cracking form and is taken to complete a hat-trick on ground that looks ideal. Cup Final disappointed last time and, although he could be freshened up for a change of yards, he does now have a bit to prove, not least with regard to the going. Runswick Royal looks next best if he is effective as he was at Ayr now dropped back in trip.
  1. Teo Vivo
  2. Runswick Royal
  3. Cup Final
