Has run well on all three starts at Bangor (form figures here 224) and definite chances on his second to Midnight Tour here just over a year ago, but not much encouragement on comeback run at Sedgefield after nine months off, tailing off early, and can only be watched after that display.
Quite highly tried in his last two novice hurdles, up against the useful Charlemar at Aintree and then High Bridge at Newbury, not disgraced in either. Not seen since December and has probably waited for better ground. Looks feasibly handicapped on debut and if ready to go after short break, could go well.
Regressing this season, beaten at odds-on in a two-horse race at Leicester in December and then showing little in two starts since. Difficult to see why he should do any better here, and is easily passed over despite trainer's good record at the track.
Has fallen rapidly down the weights in the past 12 months after a string of poor efforts, but a bit more like it on latest start when not beaten far over this C&D (in first time visor, on again here) behind Beggars Wishes in February. Weighted to go close here, but yard still quiet.
On a ridiculously low mark on the best of his form, such as when second to Raven's Tower over fences at Aintree in November, but hasn't shown enough to think he's about to take advantage of it and after another poor display at Leicester latest (too keen) can only be watched.
Has hit the bar a few times but has scored twice in decisive fashion lately, beating Un Prophete at Ludlow in December (winner twice since) and then following up at Taunton three weeks later. Gets on well with amateur pilot and not out of this.
Shown little in three runs this winter but may well have found the ground too soft on two of those runs, and likely conditions here should much more suitable. Back down to a winning mark and the sort to pop up without warning, but this trip looks on the short side regardless.

ATLANTIC STORM has always looked the sort to do well once getting a handicap mark, having shown promise in some competitive races and has presumably been kept fresh with a spring campaign in mind. The likely drying ground looks in his favour and this isn't the most competitive race in which to kick off his handicap career. Hughesie would be a big threat on old form but Evan williams is a bit quiet at the moment, which tempers confidence a bit. Goal is in a slightly harder race but it's hard to knock his form, and he could go well again too.
