Old timer with a strong record on the Fibresand at Southwell, and generally much less effective elsewhere. Returned to the track after 13 months off for this new yard at Wolverhampton last month when a well beaten last of eight over 9½F. Upped notably in trip, but has won over this distance in the past.
Possibly not suited by dropping back to 1m4f on either of his last two starts, but finished a ½L second to Jan Smuts from this mark over C&D in January, having previously been a decisive scorer over 2m at Wolverhampton in December. Stable to be respected.
Got the better of Royal Flag by a neck over C&D earlier this month on a rare away trip from Musselburgh. Up 3lb for that success, but useful claimer removes a handy 7lb, so every chance of remaining unbeaten at this track on Tapeta.
In good form during the month of November, winning over this C&D, and at Chelmsford, but his progress has slowed from the inevitable higher marks. However, twice placed over C&D since, and has every chance of reversing placings with Jan Smuts and Medicine Hat (on better terms) from their clash here in early January.
Dual purpose sort who is lightly raced on the AW, but posted a good effort returned to the Flat, when going down narrowly to the reliable Zakatal over C&D earlier this month. Rider removes a useful 7lb from his back, and holds a chance of recording a maiden Flat career success.
C&D regular who is reunited with this rider, but was a well held fourth behind Stoneham earlier this month, and is far from certain to confirm placings with Medicine Hat and Cavalieri from their clash over C&D in January. Suited by a truly run 2m contest.

Plenty of C&D form to get stuck into in this stayers contest, but it might just be as easy to follow the mare in form. STONEHAM appeared to enjoy her first experience of this track on a rare away day from Musselburgh when downing the fair Royal Flag earlier this month. Whilst she's 3lb higher today, she's ridden by a 7lb claimer (instead of Lewis Edmunds; claims 5lb), so is effectively only 1lb above her last winning mark. Fair Loch remains a maiden on the Flat (winning hurdler), but he's the most likely danger on the strength of a good run here last time behind the reliable Rebecca Menzies trained veteran Zakatal.
