Faced an easy task at Catterick on latest start and duly obliged without any fuss, although jumping technique could have been better. This a bit more tricky, especially under the penalty, although yard traditionally do well here.
Too keen out on front at Kelso last time, and easily seen off (possibly outclassed anyway) but previous win at Ayr signified an improving horse. This is easier, and if settling better, may be the one to beat. No issues with the likely heavy ground.
Possibly fortunate to win at Ffos Las on latest start, as was a length down when leader crashed out at the last, but it was a decent effort regardless and if brushing his jumping up a touch, holds a solid chance of following up.
Only moderate on the flat but far from disgraced on hurdles debut at Catterick, not beaten far by the useful High Bridge. That leaves him with plenty to find here, however, and he looks one for handicaps down the line.
No show in three starts and no realistic chance here.
Forecasts
Potters Story (10/11), Fairlee Grey (9/4), Chti Balko (3/1), Framley Garth (50/1), Sir Luke Arno (150/1)
This looks to concern the top three, with preference for FAIRLEE GREY who will find this easier than tacking a Grade 2 at Kelso last time. As long as he settles better in front, he can see off Potters Story and Chti Balko who have both shown ability but may need to improve to challenge the selection here.
