Paddocks Lounget15
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-9| J: R Johnson| T: Mrs S Leech| OR:  112
6/4
Jumped well and made all to land two similar races under champion rider. Not disgraced in better company since and one of the most likely contenders in this.

Craiganeeh,t19
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-6| J: Kieron Edgar(3)| T: C J Down| OR:  100
4/1
Winner of a handicap at Chepstow in October but has struggled to replicate the effort. Dropped in grade but, owing to the conditions of the race, meets rivals on worse terms than he would in a handicap. Likes to make the running and unlikely to get an uncontested lead.
3
Horse silk
200/1
Form looks dismal and this is an above average seller. Easy to dismiss.
4
Horse silk
Golan Dancer15
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-0| J: Daniel Hiskett(5)| T: D G Bridgwater| OR:  102
5/2
Finished 17L behind Paddocks Lounge at Leicester. No obvious reason for this 21 race maiden to turn the tables and the faster ground is not a help.
5

Put The Boot Inp185
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-0| J: T Dowling(7)| T: F Brennan| OR:  79

Conditions of the race give him little chance at the weights. Cheekpieces need to inspire something special.

Sangram63
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-0| J: Bryony Frost(7)| T: J D Frost| OR:  72
25/1
Has little chance at weights and hard to see where the necessary improvement may come from. Stable won this in 2007 and 2009.
7
Horse silk
Taurian32
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-13| J: T J O'Brien| T: Ian Williams
9/2
Flat winner who made a successful hurdling debut in November. The form of that race does not amount to a great deal and this is a sterner test. Tailed-off next time and has struggled in two flat starts since. Stable in form and rider has a good record for them.
8
Horse silk
33/1
Jumped poorly and pulled up on only start over hurdles. Has produced a fair run on the Flat recently but looks up against it.

Forecasts

Paddocks Lounge (6/4), Golan Dancer (5/2), Craiganee (4/1), Taurian (9/2), Sangram (25/1), Cold Fusion (33/1), Put The Boot In (66/1), Georgian Hero (200/1)

Verdict

PADDOCKS LOUNGE is dropped to the level which produced two impressive victories in this grade. There is little reason to oppose him with the champion jockey again employed. Golan Dancer has a lot to find with the selection on running at Leicester In February but still makes more appeal than Taurian who appears to have lost her way since scoring at Musselburgh.
  1. Paddocks Lounge
  2. Golan Dancer
  3. Taurian
