By a sire who is an influence for horses who like cut in the ground, so conditions arguably preferable here to the good to soft on debut when he ran with credit at Carlisle. Will know the time of day now and looks a leading player.
Half-brother to a moderate, albeit it dual-winning hurdler at around 2m4f with plenty of cut in the ground. Cost €62,000 as a three-year-old and is of good stock, so is of interest on debut from a yard that has a 12% strike rate in this discipline.
Not your traditional jumping pedigree and doesn't make a huge appeal on that basis, nor the fact the his dam's two previous runners have failed to muster a win between them.

Modest €10,000 purchase as a foal and dam's only other progeny hasn't managed a win. Nonetheless, nice enough pedigree and yard among winners recently, so a precautionary market check advised.
Half-brother to two multiple winners including the current 142-rated Hollywoodien. Cost €26,000 as a yearling and looks the most interesting debutant in the field. Yard has 14% bumper strike rate, though not fully firing at present.

Forecasts

Flemenskill (5/6), Jabulani (7/2), Equus Amadeus (4/1), Blue Bullet (5/1), Holryale (13/2), My Charity (7/1), Charlie My Darling (16/1), Mountain Chimes (16/1)

Verdict

Jabulani is a very interesting contender and could go a fair way in the game, although he may just be one to take on on his debut with his yard not red hot at present and the suggestion is FLEMENSKILL. Warren Greatrex does well with his bumper runners and with conditions likely to suit the five-year-old and a run under his belt he is taken to come good. Blue Bullet should again go well, while market checks are advised regarding My Charity and Equus Amadeus.
