Runner-up in a point-to-point, though well beaten in all hurdles starts to date. Perhaps connections have been awaiting the move into this sphere, though winning from a mark of 105 first time in a handicap takes a leap of faith.
9lb lower than his most recent win, though that was 13 starts ago in July 2015. Goes on any ground and showed a bit more in a Taunton seller last time, but recent form on the slide and still not easy to fancy in a handicap.
Was in good form in the first half of last season, though handicapper has had his measure since then. Remains 7lb higher than his last winning mark and looks likely to be playing for the minors at best.
0-7 under rules but that doesn't tell the full story. Went close two start ago and looked the likely winner when favourite last time but falling late on. Up 5lb despite not winning, but few others in as good recent form.
Beaten 13L from this mark into third place at Kempton last time and needs to prove that he handles conditions. Still open to improvement and will need it to be winning this.
Beaten a mile on his handicap debut last time, though that may well have been a sighter for this. Step up in trip looks a positive, as may be the application of a first-time visor, not to mention a 4lb drop and the presence of the champion. Very interesting.
Shown nothing in seven starts for Peter Bowen and makes his debut for this yard today. They have been among the winners lately and call for first-time blinkers here, so a market check is advised, although this would be some turnaround if he is able to win.
Heavy ground winner over C&D last time and goes into this from a 5lb higher mark. Conditions unlikely to be too much different this time and can't be ruled out for the follow-up with decent claimer on board.
Won a fast ground Nottingham staying handicap on the Flat from a mark of 66 last June, so this step up in trip looks a positive, as does a 3lb drop in the weights after what was a reasonable effort at Fontwell last time. Interesting.

Forecasts
Tudors Treasure (11/4), Get In Pat (7/2), Steel Native (4/1), Scales (8/1), Kaiden Michael (9/1), Aristocles (9/1), Limoncello (10/1), Lava Lamp (10/1), Shaluna (10/1), Aaryam (25/1)
Get In Pat should go well once again for the Timmy Vaughan team, though preference is for stablemate KAIDEN MICHAEL, who has had a look at handicapping from way out the back last time, but is dropped 4lb, visored for the first-time and has the champion up and we will take the hint. Aristocles and Shaluna are others for the short-list.
- Kaiden Michael
- Get In Pat
- Shaluna
