If able to reproduce the sort of performance that he did over hurdles at Fakenham in November he would have claims from a 4lb lower mark and he improved over fences on his second run in this sphere at Taunton last time. Going the right way and not ruled out.
Won a chase at Exeter last season, and was third from a mark of 124 shortly after. Lost his way badly since then and despite looking well handicapped now he can hardly be backed with confidence.
Twice a winner at this track over the equivalent hurdles trip, though almost three years since the second of those. Conditions no problem, but has obviously had problems since those days and failed to complete in both starts in the spring last year.
Not seen much action under rules for several years until more recently. Well beaten in three starts over the winter, including here last time and despite a sliding mark he is not easy to fancy.
Dual C&D winner who loves to get his toe in. 5lb higher than when scoring here last month and was well beaten from this mark at Lingfield last time, though could show up much better now returning to this venue.
Not won for over three years and not shown any worthwhile form for well over a year, so impossible to recommend despite lowly mark.
Made the frame from marks on the high 80s a couple of years ago, though recent efforts not quite a good until last time. In spite of that, he didn't really see out a slightly shorter trip, so not sure that his claims are too attractive.

Forecasts
How About It (2/1), Tara Mac (11/4), Magical Man (4/1), Jonagold (9/2), Cawdor House Bert (5/1), The Omen (7/1), Triptico (10/1), Normandy King (10/1), Proud Times (20/1)
Not a race to get heavily involved with and the suggestion is MAGICAL MAN, who goes very well over C&D and might be a bit of value after a flop last time. Jonagold could put up a good showing under top weight, while Tara Mac has been given a chance by the handicapper, though consistency is not her strong suit.
- Magical Man
- Jonagold
