Won three races for Sir Mark Prescott before joining current yard to complete a four-timer. Not disgraced subsequently in good company. Ran well first time out last season, however, it is likely that this run will be needed as bigger prizes await.
Has a lot to find with Dutch Uncle on running at Lingfield last time. Yard going tremendously well but the handicapper may have caught up with her for now.
Winner of a minor race before producing an even better performance in this grade when beaten by a horse completing a Flat hat-trick. Stable are in great form (3-4 last two weeks) and this rider has partnered two of them.
Winner of three races from ten starts. Beat a subsequent winner in November before finishing last of 13. Gelded following that effort he has then produced a career best to score last time. Needs to find more given a rise in class but his rate of current progress makes him a contender. Yard do well here and are 9-33 with horses aged four or over.
Record here reads 112. Last win was off this mark last year in better grade when trained by David Simcock. Gets his optimum conditions for the first time since switching yards. Tongue-tie now fitted and rider is 11-36 for the stable on AW tracks.
Has won the last two renewals of this and races off the same as when collecting in 2016. Came into that race in better form than will be the case here.
Takes a keen hold and the drop to a mile did not pay off last time. Back to his optimum trip for a stable in form.
Had little chance at the weights last time but acquitted herself well behind reliable horses rated 97-100. Had the run of the race that day and she may be flattered by the performance. That was her first run since making a winning debut in 2015 and further improvement is likely. Yard are 24-106 around here.
Returned from a layoff to produce two good efforts which suggested 1m4f was worth a try last time. That experiment failed and now reverts to the trip which saw him finish in mid-division on Boxing Day. Looked a difficult ride on his reappearance and others seem more likely.

Amazement (7/4), Dutch Uncle (7/1), Bunbury (8/1), Andastra (8/1), Perfect Cracker (9/1), Intrude (10/1), High Baroque (12/1), Coillte Cailin (12/1), Cote d'Azur (12/1), Capo Rosso (12/1)
A case can be made for most in this and the form lines suggest this field are closely matched. AMAZEMENT won in the style of a progressive type last time. His yard are in forrn and do well here. He is marginally preferred to Andastra who has scope to improve on her two starts to date. She looks fairly assessed on her sole start as a juvenile. Her trainer pitched her into a conditions race last time where she finished close enough to higher rated horses to suggest she could be a factor here. Having made the running that day there remains a possibility that effort flattered her. Intrude could run well at a good price off this mark on his return to a track which has produced his best form.
- Amazement
- Andastra
- Intrude
