Has been unlucky recently, being in the process of running a big race when unseating or falling on three of her last four starts. Two of those incidents were over fences, but she still needs to get her jumping together in order to be competitive. Has the form to go all the way if she can, though.

Point-to-point winner who won her first start over hurdles but could have her best days to come over fences. She has appeared outclassed over further in recent races and perhaps this drop back down in trip to an intermediate distance will help.

Inconsistent type whose form is 112 when completing but has a habit of weakening and being pulled up and long way from home in some of her races. Is on a workable mark and will act on the ground if she's in the mood today.

Form from recent races is working out well, finishing behind the likes of the useful Jaleo and Lifeboat Mona (ran the former very close at Lingfield in December), and the ground should be fine. Doesn't look the best handicapped of these, however.

Dropped in trip after not quite seeing out 3m1f at Plumpton last time. Stays on the same mark as for that decent second place finish (she was 10L clear of the third) and as a soft ground bumper winner should have the pace to quicken here when required. Big player.

Forecasts

Midnight Tune (13/8), Queens Present (11/4), Sainte Ladylime (7/2), Leaderofthedance (7/1), Loves Destination (10/1)

Verdict

This is a difficult race to pick the winner of, because Leaderofthedance and Sainte Landylime provide some of the best form on offer, but both have trouble completing their races. The former seems to just lose interest in her races sometimes and has been pulled up in two of her last four starts, while the latter needs to improve her jumping. A safer option, therefore, is the more consistent MIDNIGHT TUNE. The drop in trip and ground should both suit and he seems better handicapped than most of the rest. If the other two fail to see their races out, she'll almost certainly be the one to pick up the pieces.
  1. Midnight Tune
  2. Sainte Ladylime
  3. Leaderofthedance
