Impressive fourth at Navan last time in similar conditions to what are likely today. Must concede weight all round here having been given a high mark (he ran well in Grade company recently), but he always gives it his all.
Unimpressive reappearance after a long break last time and will need to come on plenty of that off what looks to be an unsuitably high mark on that evidence.
Consistent sort who hasn't been far away on any of his starts over hurdles. This is another step up but the conditions should be ideal and he's definitely still improving for some top connections.
Disappointing of late but was in fine form last summer with a series of impressive performances. Was well beaten by Camlann at Leopardstown and the difference in the weights isn't really significant enough to think things will be any different here.
Winner at Leopardstown last time (2m, heavy), staying on in the manner that suggests this step up in trip is exactly what he wants. Goes up 6lb for that victory but this rates a step down in class. Big player.
British import who won a Class 3 at Kelso in November 2015 but has been regressive since. Has moved to Ireland off a sinking mark and would go well if returning to his best form, but that's a big if. Blinkers on for the first time.
Returns from the Flat where he impressed with two wins at Wolverhampton followed by a mild disappointment at Dundalk. Hasn't won a hurdle race since May 2014 but perhaps he will have improved for those recent all weather excursions.
Great form on the Flat in France but hasn't managed to translate that to a victory over obstacles yet. Continuing to go down the handicap but more relief needed and seems unlikely to get off the mark here.

This is a relatively competitive handicap hurdle where many hold claims of some sort or another. Camlann has been running very consistently recently, either going close or just doing enough in the races he's won, and he should be involved again, as should Crosshue Boy, who always gives every race his all. They could be the ones to chase home CADEAU DU BRESIL. Gordon Elliott's are absolutely flying at the moment and this horse has been going from strength to strength. He can improve again with the slight increase in trip likely to suit.
