A while since he's won but two pleasing efforts over 7f/6f recently and rates a leading player in this on the back of those efforts.
Four-time C&D winner including penultimate start in November, ran well enough again in December and should give another bold account on return from break.
Former C&D winner ran well enough here a fortnight ago when second to Geological to merit consideration now off a 1lb higher mark.
C&D winner in January and has gone close again since but below par last week and needs to bounce back now.
Without a win so far in 15 starts, but went agonisingly close late last month over this trip and entitled to go well again off 1lb higher mark.
Well off the pace around here of late, including last week, mark is sliding all the while but now two years since she produced a winning effort on this track.
Got up final stride for C&D win last month, with Windsorlot second and Alans Pride and Bubble Bellini very close behind. Revised weights suggest the four will remain closely matched.
Has two wins from eight attempts on the AW but three recent efforts here have been very underwhelming and most recent success came in March 2015. Hard to fancy on form.
Five-time course winner, went close last week over 6f off this mark and would hold serious claims if he builds on that effort given prior exploits around here.
Nine race maiden, not seen since below par effort on turf at Tipperary in May, has gone close over C&D before but must defy absence to do so again.
Yet to place in seven starts on this surface, including one previous attempts at this trip, but ran well last week over 6f when two-length fourth of 13 runners off this mark.
Beat just one rival home in 14-runner C&D event late last month, tough to build any case for him on current form.
Struggling in three runs since return from a long layoff, upped in trip latest a fortnight fared no better and hard to fancy back at 7f.
Forecasts
Kodiac's Back (3/1), Windsorlot (6/1), Burren View Lady (6/1), Arlecchino's Rock (13/2), Alans Pride (8/1), Shabra Emperor (9/1), Your Pal Tal (9/1), Bubbly Bellini (10/1), Tom Dooley (16/1), You Gotta Move (20/1), Bubblesontherise (22/1), Indian Tomahawk (22/1), See You In Malta (33/1)
Arlecchino's Rock scored over C&D last month, getting up in the dying embers for a narrow success. He's up 3lb for that which doesn't afford him much wiggle room with runner-up Windsorlot as well as Alans Pride and Bubble Bellini, who were both close behind. Victory for any of that quartet would hardly be classed as a shock. YOUR PAL TAL went close a week ago over 6f and, on previous from, the five-time course scorer could be handicapped for a massive run if back on song. Shabra Emperor should also be dangerous if ready to roll coming off a short break while C&D winner Kodiac's Back also merits shortlisting on the back of a good second two weeks ago.
- Your Pal Tal
- Windsorlot
- Arlecchino's Rock
