Disappointing in two starts since joining this trainer, including last Friday in 7f claimer. Plenty to prove at the moment.
Improved effort on AW debut a fortnight ago when showing pleasing attitude to take second behind favourite. Must go on the shortlist over this extra furlong.
Getting the hang of things in maiden company of late, close to hitting the frame on two occasions. Could be capable of having a big say on handicap bow.
Ran well off this mark in 7f handicap here in January, since left John Oxx to join this trainer and tackles a mile now.
Gone close in a 6f handicap here in October, easily the best of five efforts on track to date. Up to the mile for the first time, hasn't shown great consistency so far.
Beat Sheisdiesel by a neck over 7f here in January, that rival subsequently landed mile handicap off 2lb higher mark, suggesting this filly should be respected now carrying 4lb extra from her last run.
Did a little better than finishing position suggests on handicap debut at this track latest, possibly having too much use made of her. Keep an eye on the market.
Three efforts in turf maidens last summer make it close to impossible to fancy her for this AW/Handicap bow at these weights.
Never a factor in three runs at this venue, goes back up in trip for this but requires a leap of faith to see him having a big say at these weights.
Forecasts
Wingingit (11/10), Lady Rosebud (9/2), Olly's Folly (13/2), Wild Shot (8/1), Main Pulse (8/1), Annie Apple (16/1), Milish (16/1), Barraghcore (20/1), Crois Lion (33/1)
The manner that WINGINGIT finished over 7f here a fortnight ago to be second on AW bow caught the eye. She wasn't in a promising position with 2f to run and made up plenty ground, with the winner having flown already. That tenacity bodes well and she can take this extra furlong in her stride to open her account. Lady Rosebud is feared most having won over 7f herself here in January, she's got 4lb extra to carry but the form looks good and she is expected to go close. Handicap debutant Main Pulse and Olly's Folly, who ran well in 7f handicap here on his last run for John Oxx, are the best of the rest.
- Wingingit
- Lady Rosebud
- Main Pulse
