Not beaten far in a similar race to this over 2m4f at Worcester in early September when last seen in action. Hasn't won since April 2015 but likely to go close here if fit for his return to action.

Fell early on at Fontwell a month ago and hasn't attained the same level of form over fences that it did over the smaller obstacles. Wasn't beaten far on chasing debut at Lingfield in December and represents a yard with a 43% strike rate (6/14) recently.

Bumper winner in Ireland in 2014 and finished a solid third at Lingfield on heavy ground earlier this month. Hasn't won in since May 2014 but this not the strongest of events and regular jockey claims 10lb once more.

Age: 8|  Weight: 10-3| J: Page Fuller(7)| T: S Flook| OR:  89

Had 13 outings under rules without success including two for this stable in 2017. Placed in a couple of maiden point-to-point's last season and rated 6lb lower than when placed over hurdles in May 2015. Best form has come over further.

Forecasts

Tara Bridge (11/8), Brother Bennett (5/2), Lucky Jim (3/1), Mr Cardle (8/1)

Verdict

TARA BRIDGE can register a first career win at the 13th attempt in this small field novices handicap chase. The selection fell at Fontwell last time out but represents an in form yard and has placed off higher marks in the past. Second place can go the way of Lucky Jim who finished runner-up on good ground when last seen out back in September while Brother Bennett and Mr Cardle can fight it out for minor honours with preference there being for the last named back under rules.
  1. Tara Bridge
  2. Lucky Jim
  3. Mr Cardle
