Back in form at Wetherby last time (3m, good to soft), after a couple of sub-par efforts. Stays well and jumps fluently in the main, but is an inconsistent type. Should be the one to beat if not on one of his off days.
Winning point to pointer who has only recently switched to open company chases under rules, and has acquitted himself well so far. This looks to be his trip and he appreciates some give in the ground, while he's already proved that this is a workable mark for him. Big player.
Has come into his own this season with a wide margin victory at Bangor (2m4½f, soft) followed by a very close second at Ludlow. Difficult to say what went wrong for him at Uttoxeter last time but is a big player if returning to that early season form.
Veteran C&D winner who looks to be well past his best by now. Pulled up and beaten 78l on his two most recent starts and seems unlikely to recapture winning form despite being dropped in class.
Winning point to pointer who has started straight over fences under rules. Second to Rock the Kasbah on his most recent start is form that reads well, and if it's a sign of him finding his feet after two tame earlier runs, he could be a danger here.
Enjoyed the step up to staying distances with two impressive displays before finding it all too much at a higher level than this last time. Back down to a more realistic level here and should go well on ground he likes.
Inconsistent type who failed to justify short-priced favouritism last time having won well at Uttoxeter (3m, heavy). Still 15lb higher than that victory and looks best watched unless there's plenty of additional rain.
Has never won over fences, or in any sphere since May 2014. Has put in some decent recent performances and finds himself with a low weight today, but is liable to be outclassed by others in this field.

Lots of these are in with a chance, but the suggestion is LORD HEATHFIELD. Only recently switched to open company chasing at the age of 11 having spent his career in point to points and hunter chases, this trip looks ideal and he should appreciate the likely give in the ground. Thedrinkymeister is another who holds strong claims if he's in the mood given his history of inconsistency, while Swincombe Scorchio should also be on the premises provided his second to Rock the Kasbah last time out wasn't just a fluke.
