Winner over hurdles in France and also of a novice hurdle at Perth in April. Made a satisfactory start to chasing when runner-up at Fairyhouse in January and likely to prove hard to beat in this.
Has put in a few promising efforts over hurdles this season including when fourth at Clonmel in February. Has a bit to find with the principles as he makes his chasing debut here.
Winner of a handicap hurdle off a mark of 102 at Clonmel in December but well beaten twice in that sphere since. Started a big price but signs of promise prior to falling at the last on chasing debut a month ago but a couple look to have stronger claims here.
Winner of a novice hurdle over 2m7f at Thurles in December but well beaten in a similar race over 2m and in two beginners chases since. Likely to fair better once tackling handicaps.

TOWNSHEND can get off the mark at the second time of asking over fences. The selection has a fair bit in hand on hurdles figures and with a run over fences behind him he looks the most likely winner of this 2m contest. Teacher's Pet put in some decent efforts over hurdles and though likely to prove better over further in time can get the better of The Irregular and Mauna Kea for second.
