Trip, track and expected ground should all be fine, and another bold bid can be expected from the front after those tactics seemed to produce his best effort yet at Ludlow last time (form has a good look to it). Solid chance.
Showed little on first three starts but much better here at Hereford on latest start, finding only the odds-on favourite too good. Doesn't look particularly well handicapped on that and although improvement likely at some stage, he may need it to win here.
Showed a little bit more at Exeter last time, travelling well enough in behind the leaders but appearing not to stay the 3m trip. First time tongue tie and slight drop back in trip here might both help the situation.
Second at Wetherby in November stands out like a beacon as only bit of real form this season, although may have done too much too soon last time and ran a little better than finishing position suggests. Still needs more here.
Has shown promise on both handicap starts, looking like a step up in trip will help, and to that end this extra couple of furlongs today will help. Improvement likely and on the shortlist here.
Gone off a well backed favourite last three starts and finally delivered in some style last time out at Wincanton, eased down to win doing cartwheels. Handicapper has clobbered him with a huge rise in the weights but that still might not stop him winning again.
Not progressing and still difficult to know what his best trip is. Not totally disgraced at Ludlow last time but didn't give the impression he was a winner in waiting either, and others are preferred.
Shown little in five starts to date and did no better for going handicapping last time out, finishing well beaten. Step up in trip may help but still far too much to take on trust.

Shanroe In Milan is likely to give this a good go from the front and may well improve on his Ludlow effort, but he could find himself a sitting duck for ARDEN DENIS in the latter stages if he's in the same form as he was at Wincanton. The fact he'd gone off favourite for his previous two starts suggested that connections thought he was well below his true mark, and he delivered with some ease. Major Hindrance is another with better to come and he can get involved in the fight for the places with Carry On Sydney and Muffins For Tea.
