Stayed on well to land a handicap at Bangor two starts ago, but a dreadful effort at Leicester next time, seemingly with little excuse. Tendency to jump left won't help here either, and has a bit to prove now.
Has no form over this trip and stamina a concern, but did show that he was on the way back to some form when a staying-on fourth at Exeter last time out. Trip today may be his undoing.
Jumping often a bit patchy, but it was fine when winning at Kelso last May (good ground and may have needed last two efforts to get fit. Trip ideal and looks one of the more likely ones.
Very inconsistent and as many letters as numbers in his recent for. Got no further than the first at Wincanton last time but would have a chance on his second at Exeter in better grade than this in January.
Easy enough to excuse latest effort on heavy ground at Uttoxeter as better ground suits, and holds a chance on Wincanton win in January. Only 4lb higher than that win here and if bouncing back to form, isn't out of the reckoning.
Dropping in grade again and mark is falling quickly now, but that's only an indicator of a series of poor efforts this season, and the fact he broke a blood vessel last time only adds to the fact he's looking a risky proposition now.
Hard to win with, as a record of 3-29 demonstrates, but is capable of decent form on his day. Likely drying ground not really a help, however, and although the step back up in trip may help, still likelier winners.
Has gone off favourite on last two outings but not delivered on either, a second to Magical Man at Towcester the nearest he came. Looks outclassed here, and needs the rain to come to aid his chance.

GOLDEN INVESTMENT looks to be coming to peak fitness and turned in a solid effort last time out. If jumping fluently, he can take care of a mainly out-of-form bunch. Sonoftheking got stuck in the Uttoxeter mud but should find conditions a bit easier here, and if Castarnie is on a going day, he could be a threat as well.
