Acquitted himself well in 1m2f maiden on AW debut in January, though not quite as good in two subsequent handicaps, goes up in trip now and clearly has some ability for this.
Modest efforts in two maidens at the track in January, latest beaten nine-lengths this trip. Handicap bow, entitled to be competitive and interesting to see how he fares in the market.
Three-time C&D winner, though most recently in March 2015, shaped well in two starts here last month and can have a leading role in this.
Course winner in January and since run solid race to be close third a fortnight ago, goes up in trip and looks one of the more likely types in the line-up.
In good heart here late last year, twice going close over this trip. Weighted to give it another decent crack on return from a break.
Still lightly raced, ran ok over two-miles when last seen at this venue in March 2015, off since May.
Posted career best to be second over shorter trip last month, had previously run well this trip. Modest sort but is in good heart.
Doesn't win too often but ran well on first start for this yard over shorter trip late last month, may be able to build on that.
Well off the pace on stable bow over a mile last month, upped in trip and blinkers on this time, has a bit to find.
Caused a 66/1 shock to win over C&D three years ago, that remains sole career win and unlikely he's going to repeat based on recent form.
Pleasing effort when fourth last time in race won by the progressive War Goddess, has potential to do better in time.
Well beaten only previous try this C&D, held again since over shorter trip. Not well handicapped and faces another daunting task upped in trip.
Ten-race maiden has yet to threaten on this surface in five runs but some signs of progress last month in two outings. Getting there and goes back up in trip.
Two promising runs at this venue last month, notably at this trip. Would be of interest if getting in as first reserve.

Cristy's Call (5/2), Free State (4/1), Trump Card (11/2), Ciankyle (6/1), Snake Eyes (7/1), Bomber Jackson (8/1), Temasek Star (8/1), King Christophe (8/1), Crafty Codger (12/1), Any Time (14/1), Queluz (20/1), Marino Marvel (20/1), Alterno (20/1), Zambezi Tiger (33/1), Allez Motto (33/1), Havelock Ellis (33/1), Slaney River Run (66/1)
Previous course winner BOMBER JACKSON twice went close over this trip during a good spell to end last year, off the same mark and coming back from a break, he appears to hold decent claims in the finale if ready to do himself justice. Cristy's Call has won over the C&D and, while it was some time ago, there were signs last month on two visits that he's going to strike another blow sometime soon. Free State and Crafty Codger did enough in their previous runs here to merit going on the shortlist while Any Time's effort behind the progressive War Goddess four weeks ago could bring him into the equation if able to build on it. Handicap debutant Snake Eyes wouldn't need to improve much to have a say and is worth a look in the market.
- Bomber Jackson
- Cristy's Call
- Free State
